The D-SCAPE team held the first project meeting with LifeArc on 16 June 2025

The kickoff meeting brought together the core team from Imperial College London and the Oxford University Clinical Research Unit (OUCRU), Vietnam, to align on project objectives, scope, and next steps. The meeting marked the continuation of an already successful collaboration between the partner institutions.

The project aims to continue the development and validation of the D-SCAPE V2 wearable device, with the longer-term goal of delivering a market-ready V3 device for use in hospital settings, helping to improve patient care and outcomes.

During the session, the team introduced the project vision, reviewed initial timelines, and discussed key technical and organisational priorities. The meeting also provided an opportunity to clarify roles and responsibilities, identify early risks, and agree on communication and collaboration practices going forward.

With a shared understanding of goals and deliverables, the project now moves into its first development phase. We look forward to building momentum and sharing progress updates as work gets underway.
